Welcome to the LiVE Studio Set-up
LiVE on Zoom is the Institute’s Live Interactive Video Education (LiVE) methodology which uses live 2-way online video workshops to maximise efficiency and learning outcomes.
Both learners and trainers save time by not having to travel to a training centre or classroom. No looking for and paying for parking. Select the training topic and time, have a camera and audio enabled device connected to the internet and get ready to learn.

How to access the LiVE Studio
Please note: You will be sent a unique link via email to join your session.
We want to make sure your training experience is successful and enjoyable. Please follow the steps below on how to join the LiVE Studio.
Step 1: Organise your equipment
Device
Select a device that will best suit your training needs and the environment that you are watching. Remember that many training sessions will include screen sharing items such as presentations, documents, spreadsheets etc. You will need to ensure your screen size will accommodate adequate viewing.
Desktop

Laptop

Tablet

Smartphone

Video
You will be required to have your video on to ensure interaction during your training. Make sure the device you have chosen has a built-in camera. If it doesn’t, you will need to plug in an external web camera – cheap to buy and easy to install if required.

Audio (with microphone)
For the best audio experience, we recommend using headphones with a built-in microphone. This style of headphone will ensure that during the training, you can hear everything correctly. It also isolates the background noise in your environment so that everyone else in training isn’t distracted by noise on your end, e.g. the dog barking in the backyard! At times your facilitator might mute your audio to avoid any distraction that may be occurring during the session.
